Day 1: Arrival | Haridwar to Kharadi via Mussoorie
Day 2: Kharadi - Yamunotri - Kharadi
Day 3: Kharadi to Uttarkashi
Day 4: Uttarkashi - Gangotri - Uttarkashi
Day 5 : Uttarkashi - Phata
Day 6: Phata - Gaurikund - Kedarnath
Day 7 : Kedarnath - Gopeshwar
Day 8 : Gopeshwar - Badrinath
Day 9 : Joshimath - Haridwar

Itinerary

Day 1: Explore the Queen of Hills - Mussoorie
  • Get picked up from the available pickup location in Haridwar and transfer to Kharadi in a comfortable car.
  • En route to the Queen of Hills, a beautiful town surrounded by mountains.
  • Visit one of the highest waterfalls in the region, Kempty Fall, and indulge in the water activities available at an extra cost.
  • Once reached Barkot, explore the small pilgrim town situated at the banks of the Yamuna river.
  • Get transferred to the hotel and check-in.
  • Enjoy dinner at the hotel and retire for the day.
  • Make sure to have a good sleep to remove all stress and prepare for the next day.
Day 2: Kharadi - Yamunotri - Kharadi (Yamunotri Temple Visit)
  • Rise and get ready to be served with divinity as today is the first stop in the pilgrimage.
  • Have breakfast at the hotel to start the day.
  • Reach Jan Ki Chatti, the point from where the 6 km trek to Yamunotri begins.
  • Before starting the trek, take a bath in Jamnabai Kund's sacred waters, believed to cleanse all sins and protect from untimely and painful death.
  • On reaching the Yamunotri Temple, bow your heads to praise Mother Yamuna, and see the idol of Ganga Devi housed in the revered temple.
  • Visit Surya Kund, a hot spring near the temple. Boil rice and potatoes in the kund and accept them as Prasad from the Devi.
  • Trek back down to Kharadi for an overnight stay.
  • Have dinner at the hotel to end the day.
  • Take a good sleep to gain energy for the next leg of the tour.
Day 3: Kharadi to Uttarkashi (Temple Visit)
  • Wake up in the land of spirituality.
  • Get ready to move ahead from Kharadi after breakfast.
  • Drive towards Uttarkashi, a holy town situated along the banks of the Bhagirathi River and one of Uttarakhand's district capitals.
  • On arrival, check in to the hotel and freshen up for local sightseeing.
  • Visit the Vishwanath Temple, located in the heart of the town. It is one of the oldest Shiva temples in Northern India, re-constructed in 1857 by Maharani Khaneti Devi of Tehri State in ancient architectural style.
  • Visit the Shakti Temple, renowned for its massive Trishul, approximately 6 meters in height with a circumference of 90 cm. According to mythology, Goddess Durga threw this Shakti at the devils.
  • Return to the hotel for dinner.
  • Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 4: Uttarkashi - Gangotri - Uttarkashi (Gangotri Temple Visit)
  • Wake up amidst mesmerizing mountains.
  • After breakfast, drive to Gangotri with a stop at Gangnani for a holy dip in Garam Kund.
  • Drive through the scenic Harshil valley, known for its Deodar trees and mountain views.
  • On arrival at Shree Gangotri, take a holy dip in the sacred Bhagirathi River and worship Goddess Ganga.
  • Attend the Aarti and relax while enjoying the greenery.
  • Drive back to Uttarkashi for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 5: Uttarkashi - Phata (Temple Visit)
  • Wake up early and have breakfast before transferring to Phata.
  • Enjoy mesmerizing views of the Ganga throughout the journey.
  • See the confluence of Alaknanda and Bhagirathi rivers at Devprayag.
  • Stop for lunch at Srinagar, the last major food stop, and ensure to carry essentials.
  • Pass through Rudraprayag and Ukhimath on the way to Phata/Guptkashi.
  • Check in to the hotel and visit the Trijuginarayan Temple (time permitting).
  • Enjoy dinner and retire for the day.
Day 6: Phata - Gaurikund - Kedarnath (Trail to Lord Shiva's Abode)
  • Wake up to the breathtaking views of Phata and have breakfast.
  • Drive to Gaurikund, where Lord Shiva confessed his love for Goddess Gauri.
  • Take a dip in the warm waters of Gauri Kund, known for healing skin ailments.
  • Begin the trek to Kedarnath from Gaurikund. Ponies and palanquins are available at your own cost.
  • Enjoy the scenic trek through a beautiful valley with a flowing river stream.
  • Stop for lunch during the trek and continue until the Kedarnath Temple comes into view.
  • Offer prayers at the temple, have dinner, and rest overnight at Kedarnath.
Day 7: Kedarnath - Gopeshwar (Trek Down to Sonprayag)
  • Visit the Kedarnath temple in the morning.
  • Explore the Himalayas, Bhimshila, and the Mandakini River.
  • Capture beautiful memories with your travel companions.
  • Trek back to Sonprayag and drive to Gopeshwar for the night.
  • Gopeshwar is famous for its temples and natural beauty, enhanced by pleasant weather.
Day 8: Gopeshwar - Badrinath (Visit Badrinath Temple)
  • Have breakfast and begin your journey to the holy Badrinath Temple.
  • Stop at Mana Village, the last Indian village near the Indo-China border, for sightseeing.
  • Visit the Badrinath Temple and seek blessings from Lord Vishnu.
  • Return to the hotel at Joshimath, the base camp for Auli.
  • Overnight stay at Joshimath.
Day 9: Joshimath - Haridwar
  • Refuel yourself with a substantial breakfast at the inn.
  • Post breakfast depart for Haridwar.
  • Conclude the trip with glorious memories after reaching Haridwar.

Points to Note

  • Guidelines issued by the State-Government are to be followed. Social distancing to be maintained. Frequent hand sanitization and use of mask recommended.
  • Rates may fluctuate with any change in services/hotels. The difference in the cost shall be borne by the client in case of any amendment in the package due to an increase in the number of guests, hotel change, etc., before the beginning of the trip.
  • The hotels are subject to their availability. In case they are not available, the travellers will be accommodated in a property of similar standard.
  • In most hotels, Extra Person Sharing the Room, Child with Extra Bed, will be provided MATTRESS / ROLL OVERS as per availability and not a Bed.
  • Trek Shrek reserves the right to rearrange the itinerary due to any kind of disturbance that occurred (i.e weather condition, political condition or any others) without changing the total number of days and without compromising any service.
  • Trek Shrek shall not be responsible for any change in the itinerary due to strikes, landslides, flight cancellations, weather conditions, government enforcements, or any unforeseen circumstances which are beyond our control. The additional cost incurred will be in addition to the cost and directly payable.
  • The vehicle used for transfers is not at disposal and will be available as per the itinerary.

Cancellation Policy

Terms for Cancellation & Refund:

Customer is supposed to make a full payment in advance for the confirmed bookings.

If in case a confirmed booking needs to be canceled, the following refund policies apply:

  • Prior 30 days of the confirmed date, 50% of the total amount would be refunded.
  • Prior 25 days of the confirmed date, 40% of the total amount would be refunded.
  • Prior 20 days of the confirmed date, 30% of the total amount would be refunded.
  • Prior 15 days of the confirmed date, 20% of the total amount would be refunded.
  • Prior 10 days of the confirmed date, 10% of the total amount would be refunded.

Note: After the mentioned time, Trek Shrek will not entertain any cancellations and no amount will be refunded whatsoever.
